Privacy Policy

This policy describes ARTFunny’s current privacy practices in plain language, including live AI tools that process visitor-entered text. It should be updated before the site introduces analytics, nonessential cookies, accounts, a contact form, or other features that materially change how visitor information is handled.

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how ARTFunny may collect, use, disclose, and retain information when visitors use artfunny.com. It applies to the public website and the site features covered by this policy. It does not automatically apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that may be linked from ARTFunny.

ARTFunny is an editorial and interactive website about comedy and artificial intelligence. It works without accounts or a visitor database. Its live Comedy Lab, Make It Funnier, Explain a Joke, and Comedy DNA tools process visitor-entered text through server-side requests to OpenAI.

Information You Provide Directly

Visitors may contact ARTFunny by email at info@aisuretech.com. A visitor may choose to provide an email address, name, message text, or other details included in that communication. ARTFunny does not currently operate a public contact form.

Visitors should not send passwords, financial information, health information, government identifiers, confidential business material, or other sensitive personal information through the public contact channel or comedy tools.

When a visitor submits a topic, joke, premise, sentence, or other text to a live AI tool, ARTFunny receives that text long enough to validate it and send it to OpenAI for moderation and generation or analysis. Visitors should avoid placing confidential, sensitive, or identifying information into those fields and should submit only material they have the right to process.

Automatically Collected Technical Information

Like many websites, ARTFunny’s hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical information needed to serve pages and keep the service functioning. Depending on the actual deployment configuration, this can include network and request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, timestamps, referring information, error records, and security-related logs.

The existence, scope, and retention of any such logs depend on the services actually used by the site and their configuration. ARTFunny should not claim that no technical data is collected when hosting or security infrastructure may process it as part of normal operation.

Analytics and Cookies

ARTFunny does not currently use an analytics provider or intentionally set nonessential cookies. Hosting and security infrastructure may still process ordinary request data and use technologies necessary to deliver and protect the site.

ARTFunny must update this policy before enabling analytics, advertising technology, or nonessential cookies and must identify the provider, information collected, purpose, and applicable consent or opt-out controls.

Essential technologies used to deliver the site, remember a local interaction state, protect against abuse, or maintain basic functionality should be distinguished from optional analytics or advertising technologies if both exist.

AI Submissions and Third-Party Processing

Live tools transmit visitor-entered text to OpenAI through ARTFunny’s server. The site uses OpenAI’s Responses API for output and its moderation service for safety screening. Requests disable Responses API application storage, and ARTFunny does not write prompts or responses to a database or submission history.

OpenAI’s API data-control documentation states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in. Its default abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts, responses, and classifier information and may be retained for up to 30 days, subject to OpenAI’s current policies, legal obligations, and any account-level data controls. OpenAI’s policies may change, so visitors should review the provider’s current documentation when this distinction matters.

Input and output safety checks reduce risk but are not perfect. The tools enforce length limits, rate limits, and general-audience instructions and do not provide unrestricted personalized harassment or roasting.

How Information May Be Used

Under the current service configuration, ARTFunny may use information for purposes such as:

  • delivering requested pages and site functionality;
  • responding to contact messages or correction requests;
  • maintaining security and preventing misuse;
  • diagnosing errors and improving site reliability;
  • processing a visitor’s request through a live AI-assisted feature;
  • enforcing applicable terms and protecting the service or its users;
  • complying with legal obligations where required.

ARTFunny uses information only for purposes connected to actual site operations, requested functionality, security, communication, and applicable legal obligations.

Retention

Retention varies by the type of information and the service that processes it. ARTFunny does not store live AI prompts or responses in a visitor database or account history. OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring data as described above. Contact messages may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, address disputes, or manage legitimate site operations.

Hosting and security providers may maintain logs according to their service configuration and retention settings.

ARTFunny does not keep personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to the retention practices of hosting, security, communication, and AI providers.

Sharing and Service Providers

ARTFunny may rely on third-party service providers to host, secure, analyze, communicate, or provide AI-related functionality. Those providers may process information on ARTFunny’s behalf or under their own applicable terms.

Information may be transmitted to hosting infrastructure, communication providers, or OpenAI as necessary to provide the service. OpenAI is named where live AI processing occurs; other provider categories are described according to their role.

ARTFunny may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or manage a business transfer or similar organizational event, subject to applicable legal requirements.

ARTFunny does not sell personal information or use targeted-advertising technology.

Security

ARTFunny aims to use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the type of information and services involved. No website, transmission method, hosting provider, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Visitors should use care when deciding what information to send through a public website. ARTFunny should not ask visitors to send highly sensitive information through ordinary contact or comedy-input fields.

Visitor Choices and Rights

Depending on where a visitor lives and the laws that apply, the visitor may have rights relating to personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about certain processing activities. The exact rights, exceptions, verification steps, and response obligations vary by jurisdiction.

ARTFunny does not claim that one universal set of statutory rights applies to every visitor. A visitor may email info@aisuretech.com to ask a privacy question or make a request. ARTFunny may need to verify a request and may handle it subject to applicable law.

ARTFunny does not currently use optional analytics or nonessential cookies.

Children and Minimum Age

ARTFunny is intended for visitors age 13 and older. The site is a general-audience educational and entertainment project and is not directed to children under 13. If ARTFunny learns that it collected personal information from a child under 13, it will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

International Processing

Web hosting, analytics, communication, or AI service providers may process information in countries different from the visitor’s location. Whether that occurs depends on the providers actually selected and their infrastructure.

Provider infrastructure may change, and material changes to international processing will be reflected in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

ARTFunny may update this Privacy Policy when features, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. A meaningful revision should update the effective date and, when appropriate, include a clear notice describing the change.

The site should not change the date merely to create the appearance that the policy is newer than it is.

Current Implementation

Live AI text input is enabled through server-side OpenAI API routes. Five dataset experiments remain available without provider access, and every live AI page contains a labeled prebuilt fallback. See the AI Disclosure for model-output labels and interpretive limitations.
